That was exactly my thought. How much does amazon charge for that service. Gross revenue doesn’t not equate to net profit.
I design for Amazon Merch. Once we are accepted for the job, We pay nothing to upload our designs. Zero. Nadda. Nothing. It is our job to write good enough copy to get our designs to peak interest and get buyers for our designs. Then we get paid royalties based off the price we set our items at. It is fricking awesome to hear the chaching of the sale. Amazon does allllll the work.

I design for Amazon Merch. It is hard to get the job. And it’s hard to make sure all your designs are legal from the copyright/ trademark view and for following their other guidelines. But I LOVE IT!!
It is a job… you research, design, write your own copy/seo etc but that time is rewarded with passive income 24 hours a day if you do your job right.
It isn’t for everyone, but it IS for those who want to succeed at it. Again I do love it… it’s hard but lucrative and fun!!

You need to promote the products on your social media and if you don’t have the following I guess you will be rejected by Amazon
Seems pretty unlikely that some random person would sell 10k in merch without having any following of some sort.

I kinda do the same thing but I sell pre-owned clothing in eBay. Get good items at good prices and margins are very good. Been doing it for 3 years now.

If this video was made like 4-5 years ago then it would’ve been a great side hustle.
But now people spend thousands on merch for research and stuff.
90% of them fails.👎
It requires research, design, market ideation, competition and a very good headache.😵

Yeah, I design graphics for t shirts. I applied to Merch By Amazon and they didnt accept me. There is no rhyme or reason as to why they accept or deny you.
