I drive for Uber part time in a major Southeastern Conference college football campus area on Thursday nights, Friday nights and Saturday nights. I make on average $700 a night, driving 8 hours per shift. Uber can be quite profitable if you know where to drive and when to drive. Anyone who bashes being an Uber driver is ignorant to the fact that the laws of supply and demand can work extremely well in your favor when there are about 150,000 drunk football fans in a 3 mile square area. Deciding to become a part time Uber driver was the single best decision I’ve ever made for my family.
