3 Things I HATE About The PS5!

3 Things that I HATE concerning the PS5!! The PlayStation 5 is a remarkable console, but there are a few things from the PS4 that I desire really did not move over! Such as … Rest Mode, I can not believe this is a PlayStation Function!

    1. #2… Explain why you said that. With AA Batteries that last two days. “Oh I’ll just get a rechargeable battery.” FOR $25?? Just get a ps5 controller for $15 cheaper.

    1. @Giannis antetokounmpo were sorry if we dont wannt spwn 1500 dollars for a game to run 30 fps..

    1. That’s exactly what I was thinking. Could that same issue even still exist since the ps5 doesn’t even have a hard drive,

  1. I love rest mode. It works really good and Sony has LOTS of sales on the storefront so overpaying for games isn’t a problem for me

    1. But then again i don’t see why people are saying over priced on games bc I had an Xbox and they were like basically the same price for the games I mainly play

    1. Lol its a joke nothing wrong with rest mode i never had problem if you game alot its better to leave in rest mode turning it on and off is bad

    2. @LeBorgar it uses SSD tho and power outage is a common reason for your saves to get corrupted not because its on rest mode alone its the fact the ps4/5 was on that is why

    1. @CityHeist at least their console actually rivals xbox in power. Unlike nintendo which consistently chooses to be a generation behind in hardware.

    1. Yes but if your power goes out you could lose all or some of your storage it has happened to me on ps4 and I’m a truck driver and I play my ps5 & Xbox Series X on the truck & when I turn the truck back on because it has a automatic shut off on the truck which with my company I can’t do anything to change so when I turn it back on it shuts off the power in the sleeper which turns off my ps5 but my xbox has the same cord but doesn’t do that it’s pointless just have it where you can update with it off and charge controllers with the console off it’s a huge issue I almost had to restart uncharted on my ps4 because of this

    2. @Feednamese either way i put mine in rest mode every time i’m done and play almost every day. I’ve done it since 2014 and have yet to have an issue with it lol. I think when the ps5 launched it had an issue with it but it was patched in the first big update which wasn’t long after launch

  2. Rest mode is for charging your controller while you’re not there. It being in rest mode is waaaay better than leaving it on. It can burn out like that

  3. You can literaly change the strenght of the haptic feedback and adaptive triggers to low, medium or high. The lower the setting, the more battery life you’ll get and you can also change the brightness of the LED lights of the controller.

  4. To get a higher battery life on the controller go to the settings and make sure all your setting are set to the lowest for the controller

    1. @PIC_2013GamingYT dude I’ve had my ps4 since 2019, have used rest mode a lot and my HDD is still working fine and is going strong.

    2. had my ps4 for about 11 years. The only thing that ended the good run my hard drive had by the 10 year mark was call of duty taking a whopping 400gigs. Rest mode never killed a hard drive. The dust inside the ps4 nearly did though. I used to blue screen a bunch before i took the dust off can on the board. You’re fans will tell you everything you need to know.

  5. Rest mode is good for downloading games anytime or even better over night so after work/school they’ll be ready to go

    1. @Brandon Spradling Xbox does have a rest mode, but they don’t label it as rest mode. It’s just the default off mode

  6. Rest mode is an amazing feature and I’ve literally never had a single problem with it. It allows me to open games from my phone so I don’t have to waste any time

  7. For the controller u can turn off voices coming from the controller if ur using a headset, like when someone is talking to u, this saves battery and u can also lower the light from the controller

  8. Rest mode has to be one of the best features ever, it’s simple as and tells you what not to do when turning it off, just don’t unplug the cable. Also, the battery life is fine on the Dualsense.
