    1. You are stronger than me then bcs i am breaking out in tears after a 30 min delay bcs it hadnt sunk in yet

  1. What I find ironic is how Oshi no ko straight up calls out those kinds of people to a certain degree

    1. @Sanaan01 im implying i have better things to do than watch anime everyday, also I’m not gonna waste my time watching the pilot episode of a series I probably won’t continue watching

    2. @chaser seven Oh okay fair enough. I was also not planning on watching this series cause of the whole idol aspect. Until my friends practically forced me to watch it, leaving me pleasantly surprised.

  2. So people that haven’t watched the anime or read the manga yet came here and complained about me spoiling, y’all came to a vid about the anime and expected people to not talk about it? Anyways spoiler ahead

The point when the camera just looked over her dead corpse with her star eyes lit out… That broke me

    1. The way she was smiling in a way if I’m not wrong when she died was what really hurt me… But also the way she talked about wanting to watch her children grow up when she can’t… I dunno, that kind of thing just hurts me too much. Honestly the entire scene was pure pain but it was still so good.

    2. We came to a video about the anime, which has only aired one episode so far. The video uploaded also only talks about the anime, not the manga. So no one should be mentioning anything about the manga outside of the chapters that were adapted in this episode.

Plus, the video isn’t talking about the episode itself. It’s talking about the ratings and the people acting like Oshi no Ko sucks or isn’t noteworthy. So someone who hasn’t seen the episode yet can still watch this video and walk away not knowing what’s going to happen.

Unless they go to the comments and read the comments made by people who can’t keep their thoughts inside.

    1. it’s not as good as people say it is. I’ve been reading the manga for 2+ years or so now. Started in like 2020. Kept reading it until like 2022. And my god, did it bore me. And yes, it is a good manga, and I did enjoy it overall, but quickly bored me. People who haven’t read manga/light novels, do not understand. But being 1st on MAL? Don’t deserved honestly, imma bluntly say it. It’s mid

    2. @Twitch YaBoiJaco read the web novel, it’s one of the best, if not the best isekai light novels I’ve read, u can’t base it on the anime itself, we can take berserk as an example, the manga is downright insane whereas the anime is straight trash, even the manga of mushuko isn’t that good tbh. But story wise and character development, 100% Mushoku beats oshi no ko by light years. If the entire web novel had been animated, people would go crazy over it. sadly finished years ago. And my god, was it an amazing story. Just like ORV novel. Absolute amazing.

    3. @Lily It really depends here on readers individual perception. I think the problem here is that the story is intended and focused on Aqua and Ruby, while Ai an opening window, an exposition, that’s it. During the chapters until 140 it pretty much subjected the problem of the celebrities, if not directly, definitely with allusions, metaphors, or oxymoronic.

The first Episode with the movie length kicked well in, same to Demon Slayer. And I do believe the anime will be an unexpected banger like Lycoris Recoil, which was more of an original animation banger that got more attention thanks to Hideo Kojima being a big fan of it and excellent voice acting for Chisato’s character.

    4. @WØLFIE generally people like it for the mix of comedy with funny situations and embarrassingly dumb decisions

    5. @Klaudiusz Skurzyński but mashuko is best reincarnation anime but i love all reincarnation anime with cool powrful i baddas characters like rimuru anos or aqua and ruby here

    1. Don’t worry 😂
No need of FMAB fans. After few days that anime will drop down
Same happened with spy family and Bleach TYBW arc though Bleach is in good position

    1. @Golden Boxen Short Summary:
Its bout a Idol having 2 Kids, those Kids are a Fan of her in their previous life they basically got reincarnated into her Kids.
      (Spoilers)

The Mom (Idol) died becuz of a Fan (Stalker) killing her, and later on suicide since he knew more or less his mistake (The Murderer)

it was later revealed (More Theorized) by the Male Kid that the one who sent that Stalker to kill ‘Ai’ (The Idol) was probably or was no other than their Dad or Ai Ex-Boyfriend.

  3. Can we just appreciate Studio Doga Kobo for their amazing hardwork litreally a top tier production

    1. Doga Kobo is doing this? Wow. They usually do cute loli/yuri slice of life stuff. Didn’t know this was them.

    2. Became a fan of their work after watching “Tada never falls in love”. They have some of the best romcom.

  4. The manga was beautifully written and illustrated, so I truly cannot wait to see the anime in its full length

  5. The thing that messed me up was you only get to know this character for about only a hour and the emotional damage it gives you is crazy.

  6. Holy freaking crap. After I finished the first episode, I started to bawl out on the floor. What an emotional rollercoaster.

  7. The writer is a genuine genius. The fact that in episode one he had made me so emotionally attached to Ai is not somthing just anyone can do

    1. Only some of the best anime movies have managed to get me that emotionally attached. I was as invested in “weathering with you” or “your name” as I was this first episode. Only other one I can think of that has made me as or more emotional invested in it as I was to this has to be “A Silent Voice”. Truly one of the best starts to an anime I’ve ever watched.

  8. Honestly I haven’t had the time or energy to watch anime lately (like, 4 years), but THIS anime… This will be the first anime I’ve watched in years. It has an absolutely beautiful production and story <3

    1. @WØLFIE you make/post Genshin Impact MMDs. I normally despise this phrase, but your points are invalid

    2. @WØLFIE also, that’s not even remotely what the show is about. That‘s like saying „DBZ is just about an alien with weird hair“ or „CSM is just about a poor dude with spiky teeth“

  9. It’s currently 3:05am where I am right now.

I finished watching the first episode of Oshi no ko 6 hours ago at 9pm.

I stayed up and read the entire manga up to the latest chapter released.

I now have severe depression and mental scarring due to how crazy Oshi no ko is.

    Please watch this absolute masterpiece.

    1. I’m genuinely surprised people like this manga I’ve been reading since about chapter 40-50 and it’s really not that good. the pacing is terrible and the story focuses more about the entertainment industry rather than finding the killer. and if we do learn anything about the killer the story goes nowhere with it.

  10. It left such a deep impact on me goddamn it. I have been thinking about it ever since I watched it. I am also 16 rn so it hit me so hard that she had to go through all this when she was just around my age, and how pure she was. It was absolutely adorable but the last scene was TRAUMATISING. Ai’s eyes were so beautifully animated with all that light and sparkle and energy. So it harder than truck-kun when the sparkle went away, when her eyes lay just…died. That image was so, so traumatising to me, even though I thought I have watched enough dark animes. I have also not been able to get “Idol” song out of my mind bc I heard the song before watching anime. It has definitely left a deep impact on me as I felt depressed all day long the next day. It felt like my heart was wet and crying, it still does…hoping to see something good.

  11. The first episode of Oshi no ko was beyond amazing, especially because Doga Kobo ain’t exactly known for this level of quality. They made some good looking shows over the years like Sleepy Princess, and Senpai is annoying but Oshi no Ko’s production value blows those out of the water. This is the kind of quality you expect out of Kyoani, Cloverworks, and Mappa.

  12. i just love the fact this masterpiece spit out all the dark fact about jobs that every character in this anime do. it made me realized that no jobs is easy as i thought or dreamy things and the art is so fantastic <33
