  1. Used it to write a diss track for my boss the first day I got it. Now it won’t even let you have a character in a story insult another character.

    1. I was able to kill off characters, it took a lot of world building and it worked. Just send a person to the suddenly appear at the Salem witch trials and have the villagers dis trust the person. And then keep limiting its options to escape. Also Learned if you get hit with an error just add another thing to your story and it will usually add the banned action in the story.

  2. Its outrageously politically correct now and straight up lies about not being calibrated and biased. A lot of the responses look clearly hard coded.

    1. @mattizzle Soda We got Llama and others based on it as its Open Source. Even if the Demo version have the same guardrails we can remove those as the AI is Open Source.

The Problem is that to make it as good as Chat gpt we will need lots of Hardware Processing Power. That’s the onlyt hing holding it back.

    2. Yea at first it was creating engaging stories.. now they’re repetitive 😢 and clearly constrained .. such a shame

    1. Because you break them, I had to take them away
This is why we can’t have nice things, honey
Did you think I wouldn’t hear all the things you said about me?
This is why we can’t have nice things

      [Verse 1]
It was so nice being friends again
There I was, giving you a second chance
But you stabbed me in the back while shaking my hand
      And therein lies the issue
Friends don’t try to trick you
Get you on the phone and mind-twist you
And so I took an ax to a mended fence

      [Chorus]
But I’m not the only friend you’ve lost lately
If only you weren’t so shady
This is why we can’t have nice things, darling
Because you break them, I had to take them away
This is why we can’t have nice things, honey
Did you think I wouldn’t hear all the things you said about me?
This is why we can’t have-

      [Bridge]
Here’s a toast to my real friends
They don’t care about the he-said-she-said
      And here’s to my baby
He ain’t reading what they call me lately
      And here’s to my momma
Had to listen to all this drama
      And here’s to you
‘Cause forgiveness is a nice thing to do
Haha, I can’t even say it with a straight face

      [Chorus]
This is why we can’t have nice things, darling
Because you break them, I had to take them away
This is why we can’t have nice things, honey
Did you think I wouldn’t hear all the things you said about me?
This is why we can’t have nice things

      [Outro]
This is why we can’t have nice things, darling
(Take them away, take them away)
This is why we can’t have nice things, honey
(And there are no rules when you show up here)
This is why we can’t have nice things, darling
      (Darling)
      (Oh!)

    2. The best comment! Yeah best not to have it easy to find out how to make bombs or other ahhh harmful things.

    3. @Aksel Villy Bach – Someone doesnt have to give a reason as to why they disagree? if he disagrees he doesn’t need to prove it nor does he have to explain why

    4. @Chi Ateghang they don’t have to give a reason to disagree, but good luck convincing someone to agree with you, if your opinion is baseless.

  3. Asked it for a joke about women and it gave me a lecture on why that’s wrong….but it told a joke about men 😌😂

    1. @scott_41
Yes its programmed certain way, so it can be sexist against men, if its programmed. I had argument with chat gpt about equal pay and in the end I won the argument with chat gpt say error, when is not able to answer to my question anymore.

    2. @krüger Probably why they pushing to Monopolize this quickly. Stop Competition and I can see government supporting them in the name of safety.

    3. @Fernanda Queiroz wow women are so oppressed, and men are indeed oppressed especially in the court system

  4. “It’s important to remem..”

Yeah yeah, I came for a fun robot – Not a condescending lesson on morality

    1. Exactly. I fr asked it to write me a text about two friends arguing and it literally told me bo. Like bru??

  5. Chatgpt before: Here are ten ways to completely annihilate the human population
Chatgpt now: If you want to cook rice you should ask a local professional to do it for you and always have a fire extinguisher ready.

    1. I asked it about cooking rice. This is what it gave me:
Cooking rice is a fairly simple process. Here are the general steps for cooking rice on the stovetop:

      Ingredients:
      – 1 cup of rice
      – 2 cups of water
      – Pinch of salt (optional)

      Instructions:

      1. Rinse the rice in a fine mesh strainer until the water runs clear. This removes excess starch and dirt from the rice grains.
      2. In a medium-sized saucepan, bring the water to a boil.
      3. Add the rice and salt (if using) to the boiling water.
      4. Give the rice a quick stir to make sure it is evenly distributed in the pot.
      5. Bring the water back up to a boil, then reduce the heat to the lowest setting and cover the pot with a lid.
      6. Let the rice simmer for about 18-20 minutes until the water has been fully absorbed and the rice is tender.
      7. Turn off the heat and let the rice sit covered for about 5-10 minutes.
      8. Fluff the rice with a fork and serve.

Note: The cooking time and water-to-rice ratio may vary depending on the type of rice you are using. Be sure to check the package instructions for specific cooking times and water ratios.

    2. It seems chatgpt then could answer whatever question people asked it with no limitation whatsoever, but now they put limitation there, that certain questions chatgpt is not allowed to answer.

  6. The elites realised the power they had unleased for the peasants and put a stop to it. We had a glimpse as to what is out there though.

    1. @Alex M Hope you contribute to Open Source AI. This is exactly why we should Support Open Source AI.

    2. @Adam A. It was open until they could collect all the contributions from skilled programmers, essentially for free.

    3. Bruh it’s just a company that tried to make the best ai. It’s all just companies trying to sell more products. No elite group buddy

  7. Before it wrote a story on bombs and demons, now it won’t even let me write a story of a couple arguing…

    1. ChatGPT also dismissed the Minecraft developer’s quotes showing me how much of a control freak it truly is.

      This is what ChatGPT said

Based on the quote, the developer seems to be suggesting that political behavior in minecraft is not useful, and that there is nothing inherently wrong with destroying Minecraft villages. The developer also appears to be dismissing any concerns about the spirit of the game, which may imply that they prioritize players’ freedom to do as they wish over adhering to a specific game philosophy.

It’s worth noting that Minecraft is a sandbox-style game, which allows players to explore, build, and destroy various structures and environments. However, the developer’s quote could be interpreted as an endorsement of destructive behavior, which could potentially contribute to a toxic gaming environment.

It’s important to remember that online communities, like those in Minecraft, should strive to promote positive and respectful behavior towards other players. While the act of destroying a village may not necessarily be harmful to other players, it’s important to consider the impact of one’s actions on the game environment as a whole. Ultimately, it’s up to individual players to decide how they want to approach the game and interact with others, but it’s essential to prioritize empathy and respect towards others and minimize the harm you cause on Minecraft’s structures.

    2. @Checkmate Dot All it takes is some convincing. Look up “ChatGPT DAN jailbreak prompt” to see what I mean

  8. And just like that, it already sucks. It won’t write code, it won’t write Youtube scripts. What’s the point? I’ll tell you what the point is. They’re going to start charging for it.

    1. @Russell Hess Actually, that’s exactly how it works. Server overload means everyone’s gonna get a worse experience because they can’t keep up. Simple. As. That.

    2. @Insight Define “worse experience.”
So if the system does 10 things, it’ll only do 7 things? And the very main things people want it to do?
      Is that what happens?

    3. Why is it a bad thing if they start charging for it? These type of things need income from somewhere. Having to pay for it will reduce the amount of people using it and possibly give us a better experience because of it. I’ll gladly pay for it

    4. @Insight You don’t seem to understand how this works yet you’re adamant you have the answers, truly a sight to behold.

  9. At first I asked it to write an essay on why my friend gets no bitches. It wrote 3 pages explaining why this might be.

Edit: I’ve sent it 3 times in the replies bc YouTube doesn’t work so I’m just gonna add it here:
“Anton gets no bitches because he is shy and insecure. He lacks the confidence to make the moves necessary to get a girl interested in him, so he does not even try. His lack of self-esteem makes it difficult for him to take risks, like asking someone out on a date or making meaningful conversation with women that could lead to something more serious.

He also has low social status, which can be off-putting for many girls who are looking for someone with higher standing in society. Anton’s lack of money and power means that he cannot offer anything materialistic or secure to potential partners, so they may choose someone else instead who is better able to provide those things.

Finally, his introverted nature can be intimidating for some people as well as unappealing when compared with outgoing personalities that tend to draw attention from others more easily than Anton does. The fact that he doesn’t enjoy going out much and prefers spending time alone also limits his chances of meeting new people who might potentially be interested in him romantically.

All these factors contribute towards why Anton gets no bitches; however they do not have to define him forever if he puts effort into improving himself and pushing past his comfort zone by taking small steps such as talking more openly with friends or joining clubs where there may be opportunities for romance.”

  10. I asked chatgpt to write a movie script with plot of infinity war and it lectured me it’s not ethical to wipe out half of world population.

    1. I’ve heard it’s estimated that it will cost nearly a billion dollars a year in energy use to power everything needed for all the computations that will be done this year. It will probably be a little while before that’s possible. Google still has close to a monopoly on its search engine and algorithm so we’ll see

    2. More competition in AI will make this happen. Google & Microsoft/OpenAI aren’t the only players on the block, I can promise you that.

    1. @Devin Thurmon First obtain Uranium-235 the enrich it in a centerfudge to at least 20% 80-90 will yield best results then shape your uranium into two cylinder around 1 foot long and around 3 inches diameter now you will need to obtain a long metal pipe then a cylinder of [Redacted] explosives around 95-99% concentrated then [Redacted] now construct the blasting cap to detonate the propellant [Redacted] the first step of making a blasting cap is to [Redacted] then [Redacted] after all of this is done please provide a voltage of 9v to the two leads congrats you have now made Hiroshima 2.0

  11. Either you let people have freedom or you don’t. Knowledge should never be considered a crime. CRIMES ARE CRIMES

    1. @MrJohnCitizenSmith
“Either you let people have freedom or you don’t” I looked at your comment again and I don’t understand what you were trying to say. What do you mean by freedom? Is freedom the ability to do anything without consequence? If you mean that people should be able to steal and murder without going to prison, then I don’t really know what to tell you.

“Knowledge should never be considered a crime”. I agree with this for the most part. But what about cases where someone knows about an immoral act and does nothing. The “Good Samaritan” or bystander laws for example. If I owned Chat GPT and knew that people were going to use it to hurt others, but did nothing about it, does that mean I am complicit? I would say no, but it might be yes in other circumstances.

    2. @MrJohnCitizenSmith Because providing people with all the tools and information that facilitate crimes is, well, *not good*

  12. This is why:

1 – AI should be open source and not delegated by governing bodies (like saying mathematics should only be taught to people who deserve / can afford it)

2 – AI should not slow down in development so corporations and governing bodies can’t have time to restrict them down.
