My dad had this for a while when he got Covid. Some unforeseen complication caused his bowels to burst and leak. They had to stitch him up in an array of emergency surgeries with a general survival rate of 15%.
He made it, and had that bag for a while.
Then a year later he moved out and abandoned my brother.
@LaShonda Allen We can’t judge when we don’t know the truth. There’s three sides to this story, his, the fathers and the truth. If the father got a “2nd chance at life” so to speak and had his time to think about life I’m sure a good hearted man wouldn’t just up an leave his kids like that, but if the father is a heartless selfish person it would make sense. I think a man and father who’s got a 2nd chance at life with a clear understanding now of what if important should be keeping his family together most of all, like I’d bet they were there for him during his health problems.
@Tristan Jones He can share what hell he feels. Life isn’t a bed of roses for everyone unlike your life bc I’ll bet you had parents who didn’t scream or fight and beat you or made you feel worthless, I bet you had everything you needed and wanted and had a brother or sister to keep you company, never had to worry where your next meal came from. People want to hear real life stories for you information. You need a therapist if real life stories offend you.
When I was about to turn one I had a stoma (I am 14 now) I had it for about one year to a year and a half. In 2019 I got an ace I wish I could have chosen the bag again. I know all about the stoma but if I get any questions I will probably come back here and ask you them.
If anyone had any questions for me I am free to answer them.
Explanation: basically if you don’t know why his stoma is sticking out it’s because his stoma is a little longer than normal and it is not that common for it to grow longer, but it did for him. Btw he is very strong at being positive and he’s amazing.
My mum is a nurse specifically for people with stoma’s and oftentimes her patients are embarrassed of it so seeing this just brings a smile to my face seeing you comfortable with you 😊
When my mom had ulcerative colitis, her entire large intestine was removed, and she now only has a small intestine. She also had a colostomy bag so she could heal after surgery. Thanks for educating people on this matter
I’m extremely sorry this has happened and I know this must be terrible at sometimes but my male instinct to want to pull it or chop it off is through the roof rn
My little cousin has the same thing and she is only 6 and she’s perfectly okay and healthy
God bless her and her family ❤️❤️

Can it be surgically removed? It must be painful right to outside the body?
