Has anyone done this and can show actual proof that they have had success with this method? If so I would like to see. Not doubting, however I am a bit of a Skeptic.

Why wouldn’t they ask about your qualifications first. Kind of stupid to hire someone without seeing if their qualified first isn’t it.
So I own a business . These people call me all day long to optimize my listing and other things on google. It’s so annoying when your trying to run a business and your getting phone calls you pay an employee to answer . Than they bring the phone to me to waste my time as well . So I hang up in there face.
Also google sends me emails to update my info on google at least once a month. It’s such an easy thing to do. They want your hours, address, links, and phone number. I’m never ever gonna pay $500 to do that. If your gonna fill out my information your gonna need me and my time to tell you what to list. What a joke . You might get away with 30 bucks. That’s pushing it.

I’m a small business owner and I’d pay $50 max. That’s just insane and illogical.
It’s Google maps not rocket science. The business owner could easily do it themselves, or many of us do it for fun as kind of a public service and if we do enough we even get called local guides. I do it as a side hobby with the satisfaction that I’m helping local small business owners and my neighbors by providing up to date information.
I’ve noticed as well as several others have, from reading the comments. The video leaves too much to the imagination. Optimize yes, is beneficial, but to what extent. Or, is you info purposely superficial so people try to reach out to you. This isn’t really explaining your side and steps to do so, it’s a very fast overview of the basic steps of this hustle. Nothing really practical for someone to start after watching. Anyone that already understands what you’re talking, like myself and other marketers that may have watched this already. There is really no value to the visitor wanting a side hustle to start, with the exception of viewing this short, or prompting them to contact you to buy or access your course if you have one. Sorry for that assumption. It sounds like you know well, about this, why don’t you directly market this as a micro-course teaching this. I think you’ll do well, if your intent is concrete in helping the visitor. All the best of luck to you.

This is the dumbest thing to do. I do it for free just to help out the buisness i like. Google does not pay me for this neither. But i want to make sure that buisness that i like stays for a really long time. Its not about the money. Its about sending a message.
